Do you have a to do list for your home business that you struggle to get through? Spend masses of time and effort preparing to unleash a monster assault and effort into building your profit and team, only to somehow be at the weekend again promising it’ll be next week and then next week you’ll get going for sure? This can be due to a few different reasons that are easily addressed, but address them you must because nothing beats a clear plan and consistent delivery of it to achieve immense results in your MLM.
Like I always say, unless you’re an online traffic guru, you are going to have to directly prospect people everyday to build a big team. So you’re going to have to either talk face to face with people and/or pick up the telephone and make some calls. For 99% of people this is the most nerve-wracking part of building their business, perhaps you feel the same? If you’re always putting calling or talking to people off and finding pretty much any task to do other than direct prospecting. Chances are whether you’d admit it or not, it makes you uncomfortable or perhaps you don’t have the skills to come across well face to face or on the telephone yet? (Check out the PS line at the bottom of this post for some help with this). You MUST fix this ASAP, direct prospecting until you have built a reputation and presence is essential to earning a decent income in MLM.
Every single successful big earner in business, not just MLM has a daily routine. Look at it this way as I was once told. You need to perform the tasks that the person whose lifestyle you want would perform every day, in other words if you desire $50k per month income, how many people would someone who earns that money in your business speak to? How would they structure their day, what online and offline strategies would they employ? If you don’t know these answers, simply take a look at a few of the top earners in our industry and study the material they put out and activity you see them doing. If you struggle with consistency, start with the basics, here’s one of my early routines that helped me make a great start in MLM.
30 Mins of exercise to clear mind, directly prospect 10 people, follow-up with yesterday’s prospects, motivate team, create a piece of content (video, audio, blog), answer email and other messages.
I had a great time in Dallas last month at a private company coaching and networking event. Some legends of MLM were there including the “millionaire maker” Larry Thompson, he made an interesting point that I took to mean this. Everyone will always tell you to keep thinking of that all important why, I’m doing this for my children, to retire early etc. But if that was enough, you’d have been successful already as didn’t you have the same why before joining your company? You must have a daily method of operation or routine and understand exactly why these tasks are so important to achieving your why to guarantee you keep consistent with your efforts. A very powerful perspective if you give this some though!
